You might be thinking WTH?? Well first thing first He is one of the most successful Indian Actor!! Yes, even with his 30 films flopping in last 5 years he is still a safe bet for producers. Mithun Chakraborty has been the king of Grade ‘B’ movies forever. No one dares challenges him!! Take my word!! and he mean business!!

The formula stills works. Today, a Chakraborty film costs around Rs 2 crore to Rs 2.5 crore (the hero whose charges are a rumoured Rs 45 lakh to Rs 65 lakh is the most expensive component) and is sold for Rs 25 lakh to Rs 45 lakh per territory. Compare this to the average Shah Rukh Khan starrer, which can cost Rs 6 crore plus and sells for over Rs 1.5 crore per territory. With low investment, the Chakraborty film, which still has a loyal audience in the B- and C-class centres, becomes a safe film. Even the flops eventually recover their investment. “Other stars give the starting date of a film,” he says proudly. “I give the completion date. Distributors are 101 per cent sure that the film will be completed, producers make a profit even before release. In the film industry, everybody is gambling. But if you do business, you don’t gamble.”
Mind you he is also a 3 times Nationals and 2 Filmfare awardee!! Need I say more ?? Show him some respect.. Me and my friends meetu, Pradeep have become a big time fan of him. Everyday we watch one of his “B” Grade movie and trust me it is serious fun. Yeah I know the story sucks, song sucks, direction sucks, dialouge sucks, print sucks but hey that is why we watch it. There is nothing funnier than a stupid direction and scenes that don’t make sense lol. It has provided us more entertainment than the latest so called funny movies like ” Bhagam Bhag “.

We have decided to spend our time watching rest of his movies and have a blast of time. Yeah I know I sound dumb, but you got no idea what I am talking about!! Will put some screenshots and video clicks!! Untill then Bolo Mithunda ki JAI!!! Hats off!!
