Google will fall by 2011!!
This is my prediction Google will fall by year 2011.
Reason for prediction is the fact that the war between the webmasters and Google Search Engine. Google will continue to improve it’s search engine algorithm and SEO experts will find new ways to exploit the search algorithm. This will go on till Google’s search algorithm will get saturated, they will run out of options. Which I can already smell with there page rank algorithm. Google is now punishing webmasters for passing PR to other websites for a price. This just shows how desperate Google has become. As Google gets more strict with it’s algorithms there will be a time when webmasters will be so pissed that they will start blocking the Google search bot and that will start Google’s free fall!!. This is when all webmasters will unite together and there will be mass removal of pages from Google. With more and more quality pages taken out from Google index other search engine specially Yahoo! will go for the kill and attract webmasters to Yahoo! search.
When this happens Google will never be able to recover as all it is left with is useless spammed pages!! and falling share prices it will be only matter of time that Google Search will go backcrupt. Google will try to sustain the search engine by cutting profits from it’s other products only in vain. Why the year 2011 ? Because Google will be 15 years old.. And the 15th year of Google will spell it’s DOOM!!
I would say you bookmark this page and come back on 2011 and see..

Obviously you do not have a proper understanding of the Google Bot.
Google is not desperate. They’re still the best search out there. Their algorithms are the best. Yahoo and Live dont stand a chance.
And if you didn’t know, the Google algorithm is not static. Its a constantly mutating entity. It develops itself by visiting new pages, and with manual help.
Webmasters were penalised for doing unethical things and becoming money-whores. If you were a webmaster true to your topic, and your first priority was not making money, then you would not have linked to those shady websites in the first place. I whole heartedly agree with the Google policy.
I had a few websites. One of them were on a topic in which I was not dedicated to. Thus, money making became my higher priority. That website was penalised. But my other websites were fine, because I was true to the topic.
What we need on the web is not tons of spam and duplicate content – there for the sake of making money. We need quality information, which should be available at the click of a button. Google realised this, many webmasters didn’t.
Another thing that webmasters dont realise is that Page Rank is not owned by the webmaster, but by Google. In fact, the webmaster has no reason to poke his head into the PR. PR is something associated to the website, provided and used by Google to keep its search results accurate. And to retain its accuracy, Google changed the PR of those websites it thought was spam. Now why is a webmaster “penalised”? (S)he isn’t posting quality content, which is not useful for a searcher in Google, then whats wrong with other more accurate results showing up before his/her website in Google Search?
Google doesn’t care a damn about how much traffic your website gets. Its only concerned about getting the most accurate results for a user of its Search.
And Google falling – no siree bob, they have enough revenues already to keep the going for more than a decade! Maybe with the advent of Semantic search, Google will lose its semi-monopoly, but it’ll still be there. And no other search offers search in so many local languages other than Google. Hats off to Google for that! That alone can ensure the standing of Google as the #1 trusted search engine.
