You need to include your Google Publisher id into these files. The entry is left vacant for you. If you don’t enter your id, you will not be making money for clicks on these ads. So edit these files as soon you are done uploading the theme and activating it. To find your Google Publisher id, login in to your Google Adsense account and browse to My Account, scroll down to Property Information. Here your find your AdSense for Content id. Note the id and enter it in the above mentioned files.

It will cost me a total of Rs. 40,000 including all Tax. A real bargain I must say. I will mainly be using it for designing work. Currently I own an assembled Desktop PC with AMD 2000+ , 386 mb DDR , 128 mb ATi Radeon card, 120 GB hdd, DVD RW and a 17″ LG monitor. The current configuration works fine for me an additional ram would make it better, but again a laptop is a laptop and is more comfortable. It would also help me carry work.

This was the main reason to launch GHUJ. Where I will be able to index all the GIMP tutorials available on the internet at the same spot. You can also contribute in this project by submitting GIMP tutorials at GHUJ. Will be more careful with the database this time.

I have been in this situation many times, Usually I ask my friends who are online to test it. But, this is going to change as I have found a wonderful website http://browsershots.org/ which does this for me. I no longer have to bug my friends to test the design across various browsers and versions.

How it works? It is pretty simple. Just enter the url of the page that you want to test. It will queue your request and this url will open across various distributed computers and updates the screenshot on the central server. Once the screenshot is done you can check out the url which was provided to you when your url was submitted to the queue. You can view the screenshot of your design across different 38-40 browser versions. A very handy tool for any webmasters.

Today we are in the world where every kid on the street runs his own website. The Joomla! :

While using Joomla all one has to do it concentrate on the website content as the rest i.e. the design and coding is taken care by Joomla. There are a lot’s of high quality themes available for Joomla, if you are not satisfied with the free ones you can also go for many websites that provide professional themes.

Installing Joomla:

To run Joomla you need a webhost account that supports PHP and mySQL. Installing Joomla is pretty simple if you are running host which uses cpanel . As installation can be done in just 1 click. To install Joomla using cpanel just login into your cpanel and browse through Fantastico>CMS>Joomla . Here just fill in the details like Admin Username and Password, Cpanel will automatically create the database for you. The main downside of this installation is that you might not get the latest Joomla Version availaible there but you can update your installation anytime they update it.

The other way to install Joomla is installing it manually. You can download the latest version of Joomla here. To install it this way you have to create the database and use the database details at the time of installation. To create a new database just go to Cpanel>mySQL and create one there. Also create a user too and make the user to use the database.

Administrator Panel:

Joomla has a very powerful and flexible admin panel. Using this admin panel you can easily manage your contents and other features.

Joomla Administration is completely menu driven. It is just like an online version of WYSIWYG Editor.

The Foundation:

The most important step in the web building process. What we need to understand here is our target audience. They are basically categorised as kids, teens and general. Once we are done with our audience we need to take care of the domain name to be registered. Never go for free domain extensions like .co.nr, .tk, .uni.cc as they are completely unprofessional and often come with pop-up ads and other load pages that can distract your visitors. You can register a new domain name at GoDaddy, ENOM, Registerfly . Always try to go with a .com as this extension is the most popular among the others. Sometimes what happens is you will find hard to guess a good name in this situation try (name spinner) www.whois.sc .

The Design

Desing of a website must also be carefully chosen. A website that is targeted for genral public should not be with a colourful and contrast design. The general thumb rule is Kids related site should have lots of colours, teen related site should look sleek and with lots of graphics and a general website should be simple, light coloured and professional. If you are good in designing then you can build your own layout else you can visit websites like Template Monster that sells professional web designs.

Tools of the Trade

The softwares that you are going to use to build your website is very important. If you are not a programmer or coder you can go for a WYSIWYG editor. These editors lets you design a website with ease and they often come with pre defined templates. The downside of using these editors are that they include a lot of unnecessary codes which slow down the page render time. Some of the best WYSIWYG editors are Macromedia Dreamweaver, Microsoft Frontpage etc. I personally recommend Macromedia Dreamweaver reason being it is easy and fast to use. Again the tools choice varies among webmasters.
