Cooljeba.com moving to wordpress

On 3rd birthday of Cooljeba.com I decided to do a redesign, got little busy with merabuddy and didn’t get time for the redesign. Now instead of the redesign, I decided to move the complete site to WordPress. By doing so I would be opening an endless opportunity with customization and would be able to manage the tutorials better and of course better monetization. Why wordpress? Well simply because it is the best cms out there. How I wished wordpress was there when I launched cooljeba.com. Well better to be late than never.

As I started faced a strange problem with permalinks, because it was mandatory for me to maintain the same url structure as the tutorials are indexed into many tutorial directories and breaking on these links may mean loosing traffic. Also cooljeba.com is doing pretty good search engine wise so didn’t want to break the trend . So ladies and gentlemen get ready for new fresh tutorials in near future. Bought myself a Laptop – Acer Aspire 5583 WXMi

After a long wait I will finally be able to buy myself a brand new laptop. I have a moderate budget so Acer was my obvious choice. I chose 5583 after checking out some reviews on hardware websites and found it to be the best buy.

It will cost me a total of Rs. 40,000 including all Tax. A real bargain I must say. I will mainly be using it for designing work. Currently I own an assembled Desktop PC with AMD 2000+ , 386 mb DDR , 128 mb ATi Radeon card, 120 GB hdd, DVD RW and a 17″ LG monitor. The current configuration works fine for me an additional ram would make it better, but again a laptop is a laptop and is more comfortable. It would also help me carry work.

Hello everybody, I am so happy to relaunch Ghuj.com (GIMP Tutorials) . It went down 3 months back after I accidentally deleted it’s database. Now it is back with a fresh new layout. This layout I have done completely in css. As you already know there are not enough websites dedicated to GIMP when we compare it with Adobe Photoshop.

This was the main reason to launch GHUJ. Where I will be able to index all the GIMP tutorials available on the internet at the same spot. You can also contribute in this project by submitting GIMP tutorials at GHUJ. Will be more careful with the database this time.

It’s going to be birthday time

On 13th August i.e. next month cooljeba.com will be three years old!! It has been my first website, and my most successful yet and it is still going strong. Only i have slowed up writing tutorials on it. For it’s 3rd Birthday preparation I am designing a new layout completely in css. For those of you who don’t know about cooljeba.com, it is India’s biggest Photoshop tutorial website. Tutorials from cooljeba.com has been listed in all Major tutorial websites like Pixel2Life, Good Tutorials, Tutorialized, Web Design.org and many more. Currently it is a proud PR6 website.

The current version 3 is complete done in Adobe Photoshop, so for this time I have tried to build the website using css. The main reason for this is to make a website that is fast loading, easy to manage and pleasing for it’s visitors. There is a still a long way to go, long ladder to climb. I have also decided to start the forum from scratch and restart blogging at CoolJeba’s Blog with latest graphics news around the world. Now it’s time for me to start building the layout and start filling the existing data. Once the website is ready and uploaded will add lots of new tutorials each week. Version 4 here I come..

Learn to create Digg Logo using Photoshop

It was long since I wrote any Photoshop tutorial. So I finally decided write a new tutorial for cooljeba.com I was thinking on what to create this time, ironically I was digging (digg.com) suddenly saw the Digg Logo and decided lets make a DIG Logo. So wrote this step by step tutorial. It is pretty simple and I have written it with newbies in mind.

It has almost been a month since I last blogged. What’s keeping Jeba busy?? Well it is the BIG-HUGE project. It is already delayed but still I am in no hurry to release it yet. Well the BIG-HUGE project is Merabuddy . Well what is Merabuddy , Merabuddy is place which is only for Indians!! It is a fun place where you meet new people, chat, share, talk, disucss with them. In short Merabuddy will be the place for all Indians to be.

When is Merabuddy coming then?? Well Merabuddy is coming real soon and this time I am not Joking . Still some more work left with Merabuddy, as soon it is done Bang Bang we are online!!

BIG Daddy of all my Projects – Project “BIG-HUGE”

Yes, the biggest of all my websites is on the way. How BIG ?? well you will only know once it is up and running. This time I have really planned to go BIG with this project. Investing some good bucks in it. Initially I am not looking for any profit in it, I just want it to grow, grow and grow.

Well that is what you will see in my Yahoo! status. These days I have got very busy with my new projects and orders. So busy, not finding any time to chat up with old buddies or do Orkut on a regular basis. All the time I spend is with My Photoshop or Illustrator and I am loving it, since it has bought back my creativity which got lost somewhere. Mostly apart from working on my sites , i am too busy drawing logos/corporate identity , header/banners etc.

To start up with this business (www.idigitalcore.com) I am offering these services at a very nominal price. This is done with the pure intention to grow my portfolio and increase my client base. I do have a small portfolio (needs lots of update). If you have any work, where I may fit please feel free to drop me a mail at info [at] idigitalcore [dot] com .The work is multiplying each day. I am already booked up till 5th March and more work is following. All the work I am doing now will help in my future project. Yes, I have a big plan in my head so I am working out on that.
