Today I would like to dedicate a post to my “Honey” . Na don’t get me wrong, Honey is my Pet . Why should I dedicate a post for a pet ? Read on..

Honey is a dog of breed “Samoyed“, we bought him to home in the year 1999 and I didn’t like him then. My sister had selected the name for him. Why honey ? I dunno, even she doesn’t know. At that time we had another pet called “Bruty”.Me and my sister had picked him from our backyard and bought him inside the house. My parents didnt like that. In that week my mom had bought Honey home, he as just 4 months old then. He was very cute and adorable but me and my sister didn’t like him because he was going to replace “Bruty”. But our parents forced us to accept Honey mainly because of these reasons..

He was not from road side.

He had white fur.

He was cute.

There can be only one pet at home.

Mom paid 450 Rs to buy him.

One fine day Bruty was gone, dad took him and left it near a hotel so he could find food there. Yeah I felt bad but hey life is not that simple after all. Then Honey took over as the pet of the house. He was so small and so cute and he always used to sleep on my pillow and only ate Parle-G buiscuits and Milk. Give him anything else and he will spray shit all over the house lol… I was in 10th Std then. My dad was not there when mom had brought Honey to home. My dad was posted to Gujrat. One day he had come home on leave, that time this Honey he was still Micro size and was barking at my dad so badly as if some thief had come. Being a Samyoed they have a very high pitch voice and more over he was a pup. The sound was really unbearable lol.. Dad was shocked to see Honey there and asked us who’s pup is that ?

I used to take Honey for walk to show it to my friends and they all used to play with him. But Honey didn’t like them because they used to tease him a lot. He used to Grr.. at them lol.. Then he started growing up. He always wanted to go out of house and used to get irritated at others very easily. Is it because my friends used to tease him or what I dunno.. but if we let him out of house loose he would run out of home and I have to run behind him. Later he used to get beatings for that lol.. He was so naughty and always jumping and playing. We used to play Hide and Seek with him. One of us either me or my sister will hold him and then one of us will hide and some place and call his name. He would then start searching us.. When he finds us he would stand in front of us and start barking.. like he is saying.. I found you fool.. now come out lol.. He used to run behind us and chase both of us.

Then we moved to Kuvempunagar and I was doing my Diploma in Computer Science. One day me and our family had decided to go on a trip to Ooty to our Aunts place. But the problem was who will take care of “Honey” ? We don’t have a car so that we can carry him with us. So mom decided to give honey to one of my Aunt here, so that she can take care of him for a week. We went to Ooty and had great time there, I was missing Honey big time and was worried of him as he has never lived alone without us.

We returned to Bangalore and the first thing which we did was to go to that Aunts home to bring back Honey. When we reached there we found out there was no Honey there . She showed us a broken chain and said he Ran away the very first day itself by beaking the chain. We were totally shocked and felt terrible. We can’t blame her, but still our Honey was gone . He had been with us for 3 Years and he had become a part of the family. We couldn’t believe he was gone.. We searched him everywhere, but we couldn’t find him anywhere. We all felt very bad that week, slowly our work and schedule caught us and life was getting back to normal when one day mom heard some sound on the door someone scratching the door. She opened the door and there was no one, then same day after 2 hours again some sound was coming, she opened the door and damn it was Honey. It was early 6 in the morning, Mom woke up us all. He had gotten so thin and dirty we couldn’t even recognize him. My sister immediately took him and gave him a bath. He ate like crazy that day, poor dog dunno how long he had been hungry. We took him to a Vet and got him vaccinated. That day we promised we will never leave him alone again.

I completed my Diploma and Joined Engineering and he was still there, this is when “Beauty” came to our home. She is also Samoyed. She was gifted to my sister on her birthday by her friends. Yes, my sister named her Beauty.. Why ? We dunno.. It is like the name which comes first in the mind when we see is what we name lol.. We were little worried thinking how Honey will react to it. He had always been kind and curious towards pups. He was very Uncomfortable in the beginning. Beauty as a pup she didn’t knew anything, she would be playing and would come running and fall over Honey. Honey would be totally stunned by this would move out of the way. He wont let her touch him at any cost, but he would just sit there and observe her play around the house. Suddenly Beauty became sweet heart of the family. But to be frank, I always liked Honey even now he is my favorite pet.. (No one tell this to beauty ok.. It is our little secret.. lol ) .

I have finished my Engineering too and I have started to Work and Honey is still there with me. WOW! He has been with us for around 10 years now! He has been with me always as I remember. From My School to My Professional life.. So long.. wow.. Now he has started to Age .

Just from the past 2 months he is showing signs of Aging. He is still Physically Fit and active but he has got Cataracts in both his eyes. Now, he can’t see from both his eyes. Yes Honey is Blind now . When I heard this, it was heart breaking and my eyes filled with tears. We asked many doctors on possibility of an operation and all of them suggested that he is too old for the Operation and Post operational care is very tough. My dad was suggesting for Mercy Killing as he always live like a prince in our house but now we couldn’t see him suffer like this. But later we all decided, we will give him a chance and see if he can cope up with this new disability.

To our great satisfaction , he has not lost hope. He is still as happy he was, he struggles at times but he has coped up with his disability beautifully. WOW.. he inspires me a lot.. I am so lucky to have him in my life. I know our journey together is about to end. He would be with us for few more months but till he is with me I would treat him exactly as I did before. Never let him feel ignored or feel short of love. He has been there with me throughout my life.. All the way.. Anytime, Every time.. I write this with a heavy Heart. But the fact is I will always miss him even long after he is gone. Thank You Honey for everything You had done for us. You had been Loyal and Trust worthy through out.. We love you a lot. Thank You for all your memories which will be forever in our hearts. Not only my Family but my Friends too will miss him a lot. Because we have grown up together.

You are my Brother.. today.. tomorrow forever.. This is the reason they say.. Dogs are Human’s best friend.. They change your life forever..

I Love you Honey..

Pen drives has revolutionized the way we share data. Every now and then one of your friend pops into your house with his pen drive and inserts it into your System to copy what ever he wants and ends up infecting your system with some virus without his/her knowledge. In this post I decided to share what precautions that I take to prevent my system getting infected. It requires some effort and patience at the beginning but it will become a habit soon. After all someone told.. precaution is better than cure right ?

Disable Autorun on All drives :

All the USB related viruses exploit this feature to spead themselves. Autorun was mainly introduced for removable disks like CD/DVD ROMS so that they automatically run themselves without troubling the user to find the particular file. The root directory of the Drive consists of a file called Autorun.inf that contains the information to run the executable. For eg. Path of the presentation exe etc. We will just disable this feature , which will help us in a great deal to prevent the USB Drive virus.

To disable this feature :

Go to Start > Run (windows key + r)

Type gpedit.msc (This opens the Group Policy)

Browse to Administrative Templates > System

Double Click on “Turn Off Autoplay” for the right side Settings

Select Enable and in the dropdown box select All Drives and click OK.

Delete Any Autorun.inf files :

The first Tip will only disable Virus from spreading itself. There is a good chance that your drive may contain this Autorun.inf file from your previous infection. This file is actually hidden and made readonly so it is not directly visible on your local drive. I personally use a tool called “Filezilla” to see the contents of the USB Drive before I access it via Windows Explorer.

Filezilla is basicaly a free FTP Client software that helps you to download or upload files via the FTP protocol. But Filezilla shows all the files in the directory irrespective of it’s visibility. So I use this feature of Filezilla to look into the USB Drive. If the USB Drive has any autorun.inf file, just right click on the Autorun.inf file and click edit. This will show you the content of the Autorun.inf file. Autorun.inf file is basically a text file. See the path of the exe it points to and delete that exe, com, pf from there.

You can download filezilla from here.

Kill Running process :

I use another handy tool called Task Killer . This is a small freeware that is very helpful to kill the running Virus Process. You might be asking why I need a tool to kill a process, when I can directly kill the process from Task Manager. Well, yes you can kill any task from the Task Manager but the problem is few of the viruses does not allow the Task manger to be visible. It automatically closes the Task Manager window and thus stopping yourself from identifying it. Task Killer is a small utility that sits on the Task Bar. Just click on it and select the Process you want to kill.

Make sure you don’t end up killing any windows task. Make sure you have saved and backed up all your important data before you attempt to do any of these methods which I have mentioned here. Since we are forcing windows settings which can make the OS unstable. Most of the time the virus process name will be exactly same as windows process name, making it a bit harder to identify. But another small tip that can help you is.. all virus process runs under “Your username” process. Windows critical processes run under System Process.

Keep Your Antivirus Updated At All Times :

This is a pretty obvious tip, but it saves a lot of trouble later. I have seen many of my friends who have disabled the Auto Update feature, I strongly disagree to it. Just enable the damn Auto update and it will take care of the updates. After all Anti viruses are meant to detect virus and save your time from manual removal.

Use Linux :

This is probably the weirdest tip but trust me if you use Linux you don’t have to worry about any of the tips mentioned above. Linux has probably the least number of viruses available. To those who have come late, linux has come long way from being a Geeks only OS. Some distro’s like Mandriva, Linspire,Open SUSE are customized to be more user friendly. With KDE 4.0 you can be sure you have all the eye candy that can even put Vista to shame.

I hope you would have found these tips useful. Do let me know how did these tips helped you. Feel free to share your tips too.

Ever since Google launched there Instant Messenger GTalk it has gained to become one of the most used Instant Messenger. GTalk also know as Google Talk allows you to add what I call GBuddies (Lets call them that way because it lets you add only Google accounts) and also allows voice conversation over Voip. GTalk started gaining popularity after it was ported into Gmail. By porting GTalk into Gmail Google made sure that people under contact can add each other, then Google ported GTalk into Orkut (Google’s Social Networking website) this way GTalk users can add new GBuddies whom they meet via Orkut. Recently Google released it Google Talk Widget using which GTalk can be integrated into other applications. Lets see some similiar applications which makes GTalk more accessible.

1. GTalk Profile :

Google doesnt have a Member search directory like Yahoo. GTalk Profile lets you find other Google™ Talk users from around the world. You can click a point on the map to search for users at that location. Points on the map can represent countries, states/provinces, or cities/towns. You can also use the search box to even further narrow your search.

2. GTalk Sidebar on Firefox :

Firefox is one browser that has changed the way we browse the web, with lots of coders supporting Firefox no wonder all latest applications gets imported to Firefox one way or another. If you are still using Internet Explorer I highly recommend you to move to Mozilla Firefox.

GTalk sidebar is a small plugin on Firefox that lets you browse as you chat all via the same window. No need to open Gmail on a tab for chat or install GTalk IM application. Pretty handy plugin. To install this plugin you need firefox and you can get the plugin here.

3. GTalk on iGoogle :

iGoogle is a personalised homepage, it lets you manage all your news, mails, feeds, search etc. on the same homepage. Another way to say Google’s interactive search homepage. It is similiar to Yahoo’s Personalized homepage.

Add GTalk to your iGoogle homepage .

4. GTalk on Facebook :

It is now also possible to add GTalk to your facebook profile page using which you can chat with other added Gtalk members with out leaving facebook.

add the facebook application to your profile.

Ever since I joined my 3rd Semester in this college the first thing that I notice in this class was it lacked one thing “Unity”. I saw people having there own semi groups and these semi groups formed the whole class. Yup it was divided and I was in so called the Diploma group. Anyways time passed by and now we are now in the 7th Semester. Probably the best semester ever, this trip was not the first trip in my engineering but it was the BEST TRIP I ever had in my life. Enough of crap lets come back to the real thing.. Yup, Anubhava – The experience.

One fine day watch came and asked me.. Maga coming to the trip? Me and innu were like why not? Heck we don’t miss trips he he.. The trip was officially scheduled from 1st Nov to 4th Nov. The previous day we had this DOS internals I wonder how many would have studied seriously for this internal with the excitement of trip at back of their mind he he.. Ok internals got over, all of us met near the Big Canteen to discuss the time we are going to leave. The time was scheduled was 9:00 PM. I too reached at college by 9:00 and was shocked to see so many parents as if C.E.T counseling was going on. Finally we all left the college at 10:30 without Vignesh joining us for the trip as he had to attend some CAT, DOG shit lol.. Viggy missed you in the trip. The time was 12:00 am and it was Kannada Rajyotsava. We wished each other and the epic Antakhsri Battle began. Girls Vs Boys. Girls singing in Hindi and Guys singing in Kannada as a tribute to the day.

They sung and sung and sung and they never seemed to be running out of songs. We all clapped and enjoyed the session, heck I need to learn Kannada songs. The whole night none slept, by morning 4 we reached near the dam where we stopped to see the sunrise.. Ok I agree it was not to see the sunrise but to waste time so we get more time while checking out of the hotel next day . We all spent time near the dam gate and waited for the time to pass when Sanath cracked the classic “ Aang Barli Shettrai” Joke.

As the time passed by, the sky turned pinkish Orange which meant it was time for the Sunrise for which we stopped . We few guys climbed over the bus to get a clear view, but guess what there was another person who wanted to be on top was, yup it was none other than Suhasini , phew with in no time she was on the top of bus too. All girls were awestruck and worried and most were thinking what’s wrong with this girl lol..

We spent some time on the bus and moved to the hotel to get fresh. When we reached the hotel which was booked from Internet seemed to be like more of a jail than a hotel lol.. Hotel Decent?? lol no it was Hotel Woodland. Someone fell for the name.. As soon we discovered it was no use we moved on the a much better hotel Rajmahal. We all got freshed up, had our breakfast and were ready for officially beginning the trip.

Day 1: Destination Chikmagalur

The best part of this trip was it started with a trek , we all marched towards MANIKYADHARA falls over the Baba-Budan Range. This Range is 1,926 meters above sea level, we walked, walked across never ending mountains to reach the Manikyadhara Falls.

The water was almost freezing only few guys dared entered the falls into the spine chilling cold water. The fall was amazing, the water falls with so much force it almost feels like you are being hit by a whip. Ouch it hurted, it was not the coldness of water it was the force with which it was hitting which made us enjoy it. Yeah suhasini was here too he he..

Again we walked back to the Bus to have our lunch. The scenery from the top of mountain was beautiful and we were actually standing among the clouds. We moved on to Belur to visit the Chennakeshava temple. We would never have understood the details of this temple if we had not hired a guide. The guide with his long pointed umbrella took us around the temple so show us the minute details of the carvings. All carvings spoke for themselves. The details on these carvings were not only unbelievable but it also reflected the old advanced technology of the Kings. Hey we Indians were not that bad in technology wise even at that time. It took around 1 hour for the guide to explain some part of the temple. The day was over we all rested and prepared us for the next BIG day.

Day 2: Destination Jog Falls, Shivamoga

This was the best day of the trip. Ok ok.. all days were the best but hands down when it comes to the experience we had in Jog. To reach Jog we travelled and travelled and travelled and travelled!! We left the hotel and 9 am and we reached Jog Falls by 5 PM. We travelled hmm.. 1,2,3.. ok 8 hours!!! Now we didn’t waste anymore time and started climbing down Jog Falls. We instructed girls to stay up but they were in no mood to listen . We climbed down the falls, by the time we reached the bottom of the falls the dawn was setting. We must hurry up again. Because once the night sets in it is too tough to climb up. Well we found out that later anyways hehe.. Most of us went till the end of the Rock. The rocks were too slippery, for those of you who didn’t knew.. Jog Has 4 tracks or the water flow in Jog Falls is split into Raja, Roarer, Rani and Rocket. The part of the fall we went was Rani. There was not much water in the falls hence they let us trek down the fall.

The real fun began when we had to trek up!! We were out of refreshment and light!! We had only few torch and mobile phones. We climbed the fall supporting and motivating each other. This was the part which has bonded this class together, installed a new unity in this class. It was really tough climbing the fall and we all were seriously tired and waiting for the moment to see the last step. It became more of a survival than a trek lol. Once we were up the fall (thank god all made up safely without anyone getting hurt!!) we all held each others hands to celebrate the moment by shouting and jumping. As we started moving again in Bus, the dance session began all over again.. It was not bus it was a disco station!! Almost all danced in the bus.. Extra energetic were Swetha and Sandhya ever ready to dance!! We reached back the hotel to cool off our heals and to be ready for the next day trekking.

Day 3: Destination Yana

The third day had lots of surprises waiting for us!! It was officially the day of leeches!! As soon we stepped to start the trek to Yana caves the first leech we encountered was on my pants. From here almost 90% of us fell prey to these leeches. This area was heavily infested with leeches. Make sure you carry salt, or chunna etc. After trekking some 3 Kms we saw the sharp edged, dark Yana caves.

Most of us left back to the bus and actually missed seeing inside the caves. It was an out of world experience. Well nothing to blame specially after the Jog Falls and Leech attack lol.. Most preferred rushing back to the bus. But few of us went through both the caves. Also halted at a small stream of water. We all came all the way back to bus only to find out we were seriously short of water. In the bus all seems to be discussing there leech experience. Later we stopped near a stream of water to have our lunch. We drank the flowing water and filled up our cans to move to our next destination the OM Beach! We reached at perfect time to play in beach.. Not too hot nor too dark!! But as our bad luck had it.. 3 people expired the previous day at the beach. Also the beach was a privately owned beach so we all were literally chased away from the beach. So many ass got burned!! Lol.. But the beach mood was not yet over.. We all headed towards the Gokarna Beach.. We all played like small kids on the beach.. As we already got late because of the trouble at OM beach we could only play for short duration. We had planned to play Kabbadi at the beach but it was too late!! L . All wet wanting to change we headed towards bus. But girls never seemed to be finish changing up fast!! Grr.. We all guys waiting outside the bus.. Half of them angry!! Only me and watch knew the problem we were in lol.. Right watch ? ha ha..

Finally they came out!! We guys got a chance to get our cloth and change!! After changing.. Yeah sand was still there lol.. We headed for the Royal Dinner. As a starter they gave us tomato soup, after that we ordered the Royal Paneer masala!! It tasted just like the tomato soup we had some time before lol.. With paneer pieces in it. We all enjoyed our Paneer masala.. Yummy.. We liked it so much that no one was ready to eat it and save it for later!! I saw Joshi putting the paneer masala in a packet and hiding it inside his pocket ha ha.. (kidding ).

Day 4: Destination Murudeshwar

This day was rather a quiet day.. We had plan to go for another trek but most suggested we already had enough trek J . So we decided to keep it quiet by visiting temples and heading back to Bangalore. First place we visited was the Murudeshwar Temple which was at a walk able distance from the hotel we boarded. We all took our own time to visit around the temple. Later we also walked around to visit the Huge Shiva Statue.

They didn’t let us go near it but it’s sheer size was amazing!! Some of us did some shopping , once done we moved back to the hotel to move to our next destination the Maravanthe Beach. This beach was pretty dangerous with water hitting the side with great force. We decided not to get in and rather sit by side and enjoy it’s beauty!! It was a bit hot!! But Chalta hai

By evening we reached Anegudda ( Ganesha Temple). After praying all of us were ready to head back to Bangalore!! But wait.. I see people buying this weird looking pens lol.. That kid sold almost all his pens thanks to girls!! Now it was time to say Good Bye and head back home!!

The fun was not over yet!! It was turn of Crime reporter Arjun Rao!! Fortunately we found a mike in the bus!! And there he started!! HOD part was the best.. Then another classic was the Nitty I Love You.. Composed by Satish, PK and Shivkumar.. We all laughed so hard!! I almost had a heart attack laughing!! The massage parlor and feel my love thing was the best of best!! I still laugh thinking about it!! HA HA!! Thanks man!! You gave perfect ending to the trip!!

Day 5: Home sweet home

It was morning 6 when we all realized the end was near!! But most were excited to see home again. We were already aware that we were officially suspended by HOD. So we all decided to meet up again at 10 to meet up with HOD. When we met him he was so angry ok ok.. he was pretending to be angry.. When we gave him the apology letter he again got so angry that he tore our apology letter and threw back at shayam’s face (lol no he just threw down), his anger only went down after he tore all the papers around his desk lol.. Dunno if he tore his house documents papers also in the anger lol.. May be his salary slip also. So beware, next time if you take any paper around him ha ha.. Raju……….

We all were seriously drained.. and needed a good time sleep. That day I slept 3-4 times lol.. Even dashed someone’s bike with my bike while riding as I couldn’t hold the break at right time haha.. and scolded him for negligence lol.. But actually it was his fault as he was speeding on a cross road. Never Mind

Day 6: Jab We Met

Day 6?? You must be guessing.. well ladies and Gentlemen the trips is not over yet he he.. This was another fun day.. Waited for HOD for more than a hour and he never seemed to turn up. So we decided to go for a movie rather and meet HOD when he is back. We all moved again to Vaibhav to watch the latest Kareena- Shahid Kapoor flick “ Jab We met”. The movie was great fun to watch too. We all had a good laugh thanks to the movie. Came back to college and he was still not there.. and Day 6 got over!!

Day 7: Mission HOD

As soon as I reached college I came to know that HOD is calling us all. He wanted the list of all those who went for the trip. We made a complete list and gave it to him, but he found it too huge, he needed few bakra’s to screw. We some barka’s gave names and got our name underlined. Actually our HOD was too scared that Finally we were allowed to attend class.. DAMN!! I wished if we were suspended that day also. So after that another 4 days holidays it would have been longer than a semester holiday that VTU gives HA HA..

Conclusion: ( IEEE Regulations)

Don’t mind if this entry was not written according to the IEEE standard (Shashank ?? ) as if I care a shit about the standards lol.. DAMN SE (Software Engineering lol)

Ok to conclude this trip.. This was the best trip!! One thing to learn from this trip was it doesn’t matter what place you go. All the matters with whom you go with! How you enjoy! You guys were really a surprise.. I was not expecting this class to open so fast so soon!! You guys actually made me write it this long!! Do let me know how was the blog entry or if I missed anything any where. Also people send me your experience about your trip I will add it over here.. Don’t worry about the length of the content! Just write your heart out!!

Before I finish this blog entry.. Thank you Joshi, Watch, Suhas, Sanath without you guys this trip wouldn’t have been as smooth as it was!! Also to all those who came to the trip!!

Thanks for the memories people..

I Love you all!!

Jeba

Vidya’s Experience:Anubahava was really an awesome experience. first of all thanks to all those who made it happen especially joshi , sanath ,suhas n watch. Each day in the trip was a new experience and sanath named it right ‘anubhava’ there cannot be a better name than this. The journey started with the never ending anthakshari. Guys an girls were in full enthu n had no intentions to give up . Some people were busy singing even after the lights went off n everyone went back to sleep. The bus stopped early morning at Egachi dam at around 4:30. Most of us got down from the bus even though we were shivering with cold. Some of them were having a stroll , some where happily gazing the sky lying down on the road n others were busy chatting and cracking jokes.suhasini was the center of attraction that day . Her adventures made people dumbstruck. She climbed on top of the bus twice n am sure people inside the bus who were happily sleeping must have thought that it was an earthquake(never mind su just kidding). After we reached Chikmangalore we freshened up n started our journey to bb hills. We had a small photo session near the falls on the way. Suhasini was doing something adventurous there too. It was really cool on top of bb hills with beautiful sceneries around. We had nice fun trekking there. All of us were damn hungry as we returned back to have lunch thanks to people who were serving food there it was a great relief. People were fast asleep as we travelled towards belur. But we had major fun while going back to hotel from Belur with Sanath doing Barathanatyam . His expressions were so funny that nobody could afford to miss it. It was a laugh riot. The next day we started our journey to jog watching Bommarilu. On the way we visited ‘Shwetha Deluxe’ Shwetha was all smiles making herself a perfect host. When we reached jog it was evening but we all climbed down with full energy though our legs started shivering. The rocks were slippery so most of them dint go till the waterfall. As we were returning back it became dark but still we enjoyed climbing the rocks .thanks to all the guys who helped us make it an easy task. U guys were really caring …….’hare ram hare ram’ was the manthra that evening n it was started by Kakolu. All of us were damn thursty and the shop somewhere at the top came as a savior. When we reached on top we formed a big huddle. All of us were jumping as if we had conquered the Mount Everest. It was the most memorable moment during the trip. As we got into the bus nobody seemed to be exhausted the songs n dance did not stop. suhas was imitating nitty, panitha, hod, joshi and shyam. It was so perfect…….suhas ,u r too good at it man.Next day some of them were tired of trekking but as we reached Yana they changed their minds n everyone started walking towards the caves. The leeches on the way gave an unforgettable experience which made most of us return back after seeing the temple. We all had lunch that day on the banks of a river and moved towards Gokarna.Shwetha n Sandya entertained all of us with their dance. The funniest part was Ullas trying to get the girls dance with him. He even climbed on top of the seat and started dancing. But the girls got so petrified looking at him that they started running away.We played at the Gokarna beach in the evening till sunset. We had our dinner in a hotel as we travelled towards Murudeshwar. The highlight of the dinner of course was ‘panneer’. Next day we visited murudeshwar temple, marvanthe beach and anegudda ganapathi temple. During the journey towards bangalore suhas n sanath were enacting some of the kannada film songs….sanath plays the heroine all the time n nobody can beat him.

After the dinner all of them went to sleep and we reached Bangalore early morning. The trip was over but all of us were n still are in a holiday mood. It was all possible bcoz of joshi, sanath, suhas and watch they made everyone feel comfortable and cheered them up if they went low . joshi, hats off to u …..U provided us with good facilities and maintained the spirit throughout the trip even if u were tired at times and finally Jeba, thanks to you for giving me a chance to thank everyone…..

Sahana C.S Experience:Hmmmm…. this trip– Anubhava – the Experience is an unforgettable event in my life… I just cudnt believe v had com to the end of our engineering life… v were in the final year n yet had not gone out with friends for more than a day… Then suddenly the long lasted plan was put into implementation n v all planned to leave for the trip on 31st night… Even after the tripwas finalised, the more difficult part was to convince ppl to join us for the trip… more than preparing for internals v spent time convincin ppl n emotionally blackmailin them to com for the trip… Finally everyone agreed n the entire gang was so enthusiastically discussin abt the dresses n baggage n stuff… all excited abt the trip… v went home after dos test began to pack n get ready with som lastminute shoppin n all that…
Finally allset to leave for the trip…. sayin tata bye bye at home n gettin dads to carry the baggage was not satisfying…. all the moms also were so eager to drop their daughters… that was time for all parents to gettogether in college exchanging their views abt their daughters.. who is gud at wat.. who sleeps how much… who does wat work at home n etc etc…. finally we left!! the fun began…. all girls sittin in the front seats n guys at the back… soon after the initial setup came the shuffling… where ppl made themselves comfortable sitting next to their loved ones!! then came all the fun…. the battle of songs… guys singing kannada songs versus teh girls singing hindi songs with an exhaustive collection of all possible songs… … meanwhile celebratin rajyotsava @ 12.20 in the midnight…:)) nobody slept that night… except for a few of them… we gotdown near the yagachi dam waiting for sunrise… next event was climbing on the bus… som of the guys climbed onto the top of the bus… suhasini cud not resist too… she also went withthem on top n had great fun… they took pix of the sunrise n welcomed the sun… after that v took a few pix near the dam n left for the rajmahal hotel… freshened up.. got ready n all set to go for bababudangiri hills…
here v trekked… i dint know trekkin was to go up walkin in the mountains even though the bus cud go till there…. i kept wonderin y v were walkin like mads wen the bus cud take us all the way till the top… then i realised the fun… wen everyone went away faster… i was left behind… not bcos i was tired… but bcos i had started admiring the beauty of the hills… v chose to walk on the rugged rocks rather than the straight tarredroad… thats wen the spirit of trekkin arose!! then v took som pix… n saw the guys enjoi near the manikya falls…. though v cud not get wetstanding under the falls v sttod close to it.. the water that was sprinkling on us gave the whole effect of it… the water was so cold n nice… felt like stayin there only… after that was lunch – tomato rice n curd rice with chips… ate well n headed for the belur temple!! this was suhas’ favourite place… dunno y… the guide was very gud there.. he explained abt the hoysala art… the best part was the bangle carvings which were movable!!!! then we had dinner n slept….the next day v ate breakfast n travelled n travelled to reach jog falls… saw bommarailu movie in the bus… a nice one!! thanx to the english translation that made us understand it!! then v also danced asusual sandhya n shakirashwetha n suhas n sanath in the lead role… more funnier part was ullas… to pull out ppl from their places to get them dance in a style so typical of “ullas”!! also inayat with dupatta dancing for “nimbe hanni nantha hudgi bandlu nodu”… and sanath in his bharathnatyam style… suhas n watch dancing for mungaru male… sanath n suhas for “enoo mohaaaa” with sanath’s broken waist style!!!!! hehehhe… can never forget those steps!!! well… we reached jog by 5′oclock… this was the most memorable part of the trip… gettin down was somehow easier i felt… not much of a difficulty there… though towards the end i fell thrice flat in water… wen i fell i was supposed to b scared… but enjoyed the force of the water which was pushin me further down… had a tickling sensation when water went inside!!! then slowly it started bcomin darker n darker… wen v realised that v shud start movin from there….. cud hear joshi n sanath screaming “ella banri”, “com fast”, “late aaythu”, “bega bega”… there were 43 of us… with just 4-5 torches around… pitch dark…… v were all so tired…. guys leadin all the girls… they saw to it that all girls reached safely first… so sweeet of them… thanx to subin n kumargautham who saved me… the best part of this was the limesoda which gave so much energy that v were back to dancin n celebratin after reaching on top!!! mission accomplished… all of us safe n sound dancing n makin merry!!! then v got back to thebus.. asusual dancing – loud music… n this time immitatin n makin fun of all possible lecturers who handles us right from 1st semester… thanx to suhas… he is so gud at it!!!!! recollectin neelakanthan n dhanya n panitha n all specimens of our college!!!then v had dinner n slept… next day v had breakfast n set out for yana… the world of leeches!!! all set with sunna + salt + turmeric carefully watching each others legs to find for them…
most of us were lucky enuf to b spared by these blood suckers… though som ppl like kakolu were shown the sweetness of their blood!!!! after listenin to the story of the place… v headed towards the caves… where somppl backed out n headed back towards the bus… but i was very determined…. had felt a bit dizzy @ jog n i had to prove to myself that i was not so weak n so decided to go with the others towards the caves… they were awesome!! sunlight peepin thru the caves n lighting the place… took som nice pix over here.. the most important thing here was a waterbody… where v cud find bigger leeches in the water but yet managed to walk thru rather run thru in this water just for the fun of it, there was nothin to c infact!!!then slowly energy levels started fallin… had som glucose n left to reachthe bus… walked back to find that there was not a drop of water with anyone… then v travelled hunting for a place with water so that v cud hav lunch… v stopped at a river n filled our bottles n ate lunch n left for om beach… but were not allowedto play there… so v left for gokarna beach… played in the beach n then left to murudeswara… had dinner there… v were supposed to b so tired after the day’s long journey n war with the leeches… but started playin cards… played n played n played till 3.45 am… then v decided to sleep n slept… already v were hungry by then… but somhow slept n got up early n took cold water bath this day… a memorable experience again… all these days v were sweating so badly after hotwaterbath… but this day v were actually shivering with cold… hehehhe ) then v ate breakfast n left for murudeswara temple… took som pix n ate ice creams n got back to bus…. went to maravanthe beach… it was damn scary… but v cud c the contrast of nature here too… on the right side was this furious beach roaring n hittin the shore… on the left was this calm n notsobothered river… this was like the 2 sides of an engineering student of VTU… the side wen he bcomes furious – during exams -high studying activity roaring at everyone… the other side… calm n quiet n upto his own routine – eat sleep com to coll do nothing n go back… anyways… then v went back to bus… slept well in the bus… took pix of ppl sleepin also… cant believe!!! n reached shivamoga bus stand in the night for dinner,…
at this time… all of us were terribly worn out… puking… oops… in the tapori language – omlett haakadu… hehehhe so funny!!!! then v ate dinner n slept to reach bangalore @ 6 in the morning… at this time v were all feelin bad taht v had com to the end of the trip.. but @ the same time happy abt gettin back home to c our parents…. decided to meet in coll @ 10 to get screwed by HOD..
after the trip v slept so much for so many hours continuously… slept like a log… in an unconscious state…
next day again back to coll – n went to Jab we met n enjoyed in the theatre again…
next day v got our supension revoked n had to attend classes asusual… gettin screwed by classes n ppl like nitty… really wish v cud rewind a time machine n get back to 31st night n enjoy everything all over again…
but more importantly as allwin said there is a new unity n bonding in the class which had been missing for these many years…. but.. better late than never… this is not the end but the beginning of a new life in the final year of our engineering… its never like “they lived happily everafter” n everything ends there… but for us its gonna b “v r going to live happily from now on….”!!!! right ppl????
